NEXT SINGLE - DAYDREAM
Kelly Abarca will release her new single “Daydream” on December 6th, 2025, along with a surreal, narrative-driven music video. The track blends dreamy indie and synth-pop influences, exploring the feeling of being mentally “stuck” in a loop — caught in a daydream so deep that taking action becomes difficult.
Produced remotely between Spain and the United States by Max Martinez, “Daydream” features airy synths, atmospheric production, and introspective lyrics that reflect on dissociation, imagination, and emotional paralysis.
The single is accompanied by a visually striking music video directed by Austin Archer, with cinematography by Mark Martin. The video follows “alien Kelly,” who is trapped inside a crystal chamber while scientists push her through strange simulations. Watching from another room, her ego becomes frustrated with the results and enters the lab, triggering a confrontation that leads to a symbolic “dissolution of self.”
“Daydream” marks an important new chapter for Abarca as it launches the era of her upcoming EP, WAVES, set for release in March 2026. The EP continues to explore themes of healing, introspection, and consciousness through a blend of dreamy pop and emotional storytelling.
“Daydream” will be available on all major streaming platforms on December 6th, and the music video will premiere on the same day.
EP
Kelly is gearing up to release an EP on March 2026, where she delves into sounds featuring synthesizers and percussion, alongside a blend of psychedelic rock and surf elements.
Her lyrics draw inspiration from her healing journey since she moved to Los Angeles on 2021, aiming to inspire others to adopt a more positive and optimistic outlook on life. Kelly believes in the power of confronting one's fears, nurturing self-love, and embracing authenticity. Through her music, she hopes to instill a sense of empowerment and self-discovery in her listeners.
The EP was produced remotely by Max Martinez, based in Valencia, Spain.
